What are Systems?
Some general characteristics of systems are:
- Systems consist of definable elements
- Most systems are elements of larger systems
- Elements of a system can be perceived as sub-systems
- Systems have permeable boundaries to their environments
- Elements of a system interrelate or communicate with each other
- Complex systems include hierarchies of systems and subsystems
- Systems show dynamic behavior, often related to the goals of the system
Human systems are groups of people who influence each other. Human relationship dynamics go far beyond simple ideas of cause-and-effect. Often the effects seem to cause the causes.
Systems Thinking
We can know models of reality but not reality itself. Thinking in terms of simple cause-effect relationships might be called functional or linear – in contrast to thinking in terms of waves and loops. Interrelated systems have direct and indirect relationships. Feedback loops can be reinforcing (positive) or balancing (negative).
In systems thinking, distinctions between cause and effect can be paradoxical. We cannot identify a single cause for a systemic process, since effects may affect the cause. An understanding of feedback loops requires a dynamic perspective to observe how systemic behavior changes over time.
Overview of Systemic Coaching and Coach Training
We use systemic coaching to help people explore what they want, where they are now and how they can enjoy success. We coach people to achieve their goals, enjoy emotional freedom and/or build relationship happiness. We coach people to clean up their lives. Consider our logo as a simple symbol …
Crisis & Maturity
People who wait for someone else to solve their problems may remain immature and dependent. You can coach people to enjoy clarifying and resolving each part of their lives! Helping people take responsibility for dealing with a crisis is often a first step of our systemic coaching.
Systemic Coach Training 1: Entanglements & Clarity
Regain peace and clarity. You can coach people to enjoy good relationships with parents, partners, ex-partners and children, instead of relationship confusion (e.g. reacting to a partner as if to a parent, or to a friend as if to a partner, which has unpleasant consequences.) Resolving entanglements can accelerate all parts of life.
Systemic Coach Training 2: Goals & Objections
As your entanglements diminish, your clarity increases and you can better focus on what you want. However, unconscious resistance will show up as objections to your goals. This phase of our work helps people become aware of and manage inner objections to a successful life.
Systemic Coach Training 3: Conflicts & Dreamwork
Many people spontaneously show trance-like signs during goalwork. However, our systemic work can continue using isomorphic and interactive metaphors. This leads towards finding integrity, the Soul of Soul Work, unless conflicts or identity loss prevent this experience of integrity and connectedness.
Systemic Coach Training 4: Trauma, Abuse & Motivation
You can coach people to manage resistance that result from trauma & abuse. Help people end any emotional chaos following crisis, abuse or traumatic experiences. You can coach people to transform negative emotions into motivation – from headwind to tailwind.
Systemic Coach Training 5: Relationship Bonds & Choice
Many people feel manipulated, yet do not protest because of they perceive it as normal. Bonds keep people in unhealthy relationships even when the consequences are unpleasant. Bonds include obsessions, emotions and limiting beliefs.
You can coach people to identify and change relationship bonds. You can coach people to increase their freedom and choice. People who manage toxic relationship bonds feel increasingly free.
Systemic Coach Training 6: Identity & Integrity
You can coach people to find the hidden benefits of conflicts, and to manage conflicts. After resolving conflicts, most people can better focus on their goals and plans. Deep conflicts may expose identity loss – identifications, identity conflict or a loss of self.
A common goal of our coaching is to experience integrity. You can coach people to access and stabilize this wonderful experience as a life-resource, while defining life direction (or mission or purpose). See Soul of Soulwork.
Systemic Coach Training 7: Mentors & Inspiration
You can help people evaluate their past and current role models and change mentor damage. With focus, integrity, supportive beliefs, motivation and inspirational mentorship – you can help people find and fulfill their goals – and their life purpose!
Individual coaching often leads to couple counseling, family coaching or team training. We coach partners, parents and team members to adapt to and appreciate changes, while helping them improve their partnership.
Systemic Coach Training 8: Systemic Couple Coaching
We can help you find solutions for your relationships – from friendship to dating to marriage; from making friends to creating communities. As you develop your relationship intelligence and maturity, you can change your relationship habits to better express, enjoy and receive love.
